SKL Instructors have been working with children for many years, some of them going on to have success at the Karate National Championships, and some even becoming National champions.
The beginner children classes have a duration of 45 mins which is an ideal lesson length for young karate students. Starting time is 6.30pm.

Many children have found themselves inspired by films such as the Karate Kid and these classes will offer parents the opportunity to take advantage of this to get their kids active. Karate is highly suited to younger students as it can be taught in a very safe and structured format with clear and obtainable goals each step of the way. Beginning to learn Karate at an early age can start a rewarding journey towards being accomplished adult martial arts practitioner.

All SKL instructors are official JKA coaches and are certified with DBS (formally CRB). Instructors are also certified in first aid.
